GARAGE STRENGTH — EARLY ACCESS PRIVACY INFORMATION Effective September 15, 2026 Garage Strength is a workout-planning and logging application. Contact: garagestrengthapp@yahoo.com. RELEASE AVAILABILITY The optional Version 1.1 and later features described below apply when you use a build that includes them, including the 1.1.2 public update. Version 1.0 does not provide the coaching, pregnancy/postpartum or skill-stage screens described there. No account is enrolled in coaching by this policy update. Community sharing remains closed for this release. New WHOOP connections remain limited to authorized beta accounts; an existing authorized connection can continue to synchronize. Private coaching does not open community sharing or expand WHOOP provider access. YOUR ACCOUNT AND TRAINING DATA We use your sign-in email, account identifier and optional display name to provide your account. Workouts, sets, repetitions, load, effort, programs and optional bodyweight measurements are stored on your device and synchronized to the app's Supabase account/database service. Data is associated with your account so it can be restored when you sign in. A device copy allows offline logging; uninstalling before pending changes synchronize can lose those changes. PROGRAM DOCUMENTS AND GOALS Camera/photos/document access is requested only when you choose to import a program. Text recognition uses Apple Vision/PDFKit on iOS and bundled Google ML Kit/PDF rendering on Android. Selected source files and generated previews are processed on the device; the app does not send them to a cloud OCR or generative-AI service. Temporary app-owned previews are cleaned up after review. Text you explicitly review and save is retained with the private imported program and synchronized to Supabase. Imported programs and their copies cannot be published in the app's shared library. On Android, Google's bundled ML Kit SDK separately processes diagnostics and usage metrics, including per-installation identifiers, device/app information, performance, feature events, error codes and input/output-size or format metadata. Google documents HTTPS transport for these metrics. This is separate from Garage's first-party feature-use analytics setting; that setting does not disable ML Kit metrics. Google describes its handling at https://developers.google.com/ml-kit/android-data-disclosure and https://developers.google.com/ml-kit/terms. iOS document recognition uses Apple Vision instead of ML Kit. Goal-program intake is processed by the app's program builder. Raw intake answers and private prompt text are not saved as product analytics. Saved prescriptions and their explanatory anatomy/goal information become part of your chosen program. A program you explicitly share can expose its program content to other signed-in users; your workout history and profile measurements are not published with it. Shared copies already saved by another user may remain after you unshare or delete the original. ATHLETE SCORE AND PERSONAL MEASUREMENTS Optional athlete inputs include bench, squat and deadlift maxima, grip strength, VO2 max, manually timed one-mile run results, pull-up counts in a 60-second test, measurement method, and any device or hand information you enter. They are saved privately with your account profile and synchronized to Supabase. Older manual resting-heart-rate entries may remain in the private profile for compatibility; the current Athlete Score does not display, edit or score them. WHOOP resting heart rate is shown separately in its optional connection panel. WHOOP's current developer API does not provide VO2 max, so Garage does not automatically derive that measurement from its other readings. The app uses eligible finished Garage workout sets to calculate recorded or estimated lift maxima; mile and timed pull-up results require separate manual entries. The Athlete Score is an optional game mechanic using independently designed performance anchors for each activity, with named reference endpoints. It is not a percentage of a record, scientific classification, medical assessment, population percentile, or prediction of lifespan. Missing measurements do not become zero scores. These measurements and derived scores are not added to product analytics or published to other accounts. You can remove current manual athlete inputs in the score editor; deleting your account removes the associated app profile and training records, including legacy entries. COMMUNITY PROGRAMS, REPORTS AND BLOCKS New public program sharing and community discovery are currently closed. The following describes the handling of previously saved shared editions, reports and moderation records, and the review rules that apply if sharing is explicitly reopened. Sharing a program submits its content for review. We record the accepted community-rules version and time, the submitted program content version, moderation decisions and reasons, and any restriction on a creator's sharing. Only the approved current edition can appear to other accounts in the shared library. Your private drafts, workout history and personal measurements are not sent for community review. When you report a program, we store your account identifier, the program and creator identifiers, the reported edition's content, your selected reason, optional explanation, and the review outcome. If you report a saved edition that is no longer public, the report uses that saved edition, not the creator's later private changes. Report details are available to authorized operators; they are not shown to the reported creator or other users. Avoid putting unnecessary personal or medical information in report notes. A successfully submitted report hides that program from your browsing. Blocking stores the creator identifier, their previously public label and the time, and hides that creator's programs from your browsing; unblocking does not cancel a separate report. Previously saved program copies and existing training history remain private records belonging to the person who saved them. Blocking and moderation do not delete their completed workouts. Community acceptance, blocks, reports and moderation records are retained while the associated accounts exist. Account deletion removes records linked to that account, including associated moderation evidence; independent program copies already saved by others remain as described above. We do not use report notes or reviewed program content as product analytics. Community rules: https://ldxqnsctaplxjtcycqgm.supabase.co/functions/v1/public-info/community OPTIONAL WEB SEARCH Selecting Search web opens Google in your browser with the search text you submitted or the topic you selected. No workout, profile, imported document, or WHOOP data is added to that search. Garage does not automatically search the web or record your query in product analytics. Google and the websites you visit apply their own privacy policies. Web results are separate from Garage's supported catalog and are not automatically used to generate programs. OPTIONAL WHOOP CONNECTION WHOOP is optional. If you connect, WHOOP asks you to authorize access to recovery, cycles/Strain, sleep and activities/workouts. The app uses WHOOP's official API. WHOOP access and refresh credentials are held encrypted on the server, not in the mobile app or analytics. Imported records remain labelled WHOOP. They can include WHOOP Recovery, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, Strain and supported activity heart-rate data. These are WHOOP's measurements and scores; Garage does not claim to calculate them. The app refreshes the connection while used or on manual synchronization; it does not promise continuous closed-app synchronization. Disconnecting WHOOP removes the app's stored WHOOP records and credentials and attempts to revoke WHOOP access. You can also revoke access from WHOOP. Your manually logged Garage workouts remain. WHOOP's own collection and account retention are governed by WHOOP's privacy policy: https://www.whoop.com/us/en/privacy/. VERSION 1.1 AND LATER — OPTIONAL PRIVATE COACHING Coaching is optional. A coach creates a one-use invitation code valid for 24 hours and shares it themselves. Garage does not email that invitation. The athlete reviews the coach's display name, selects permissions and explicitly confirms before connecting. Opening a coach view does not enroll anyone or start a program. We store connection identifiers, participants' account identifiers, the selected permission level, status and timestamps; display names are shown to the participants. We also store invitation redemption, program offers and snapshots, accepted-copy attribution, and exercise-change requests and outcomes. These support the private connection and its training history, not a public social feed. TRAINING ONLY — DEFAULT: The connected coach can see ordinary program content and notes, schedules/program runs, current-run selection, workout dates/completion, prescribed targets, logged sets/reps/time/load/effort, cardio records, and substitutions with reasons and any saved reason notes. Display names and program/assignment attribution are included. WHOOP data is excluded. TRAINING + WHOOP RECOVERY — OPTIONAL: Also shares available WHOOP Recovery, HRV, resting heart rate, calibration/score status, cycle Strain and heart-rate observations, detected workout names/times/Strain/heart rates, connection status, last synchronization, and athlete-confirmed matches to shared Garage workouts. Sleep records are excluded. TRAINING + WHOOP RECOVERY + SLEEP — SEPARATE OPTIONAL CHOICE: Also shares available sleep times, duration and nap information. WHOOP sharing uses the existing optional provider connection; it does not connect WHOOP, reveal credentials, expand provider authorization or automatically change a program. Readings stay labelled WHOOP. The coach dashboard is a recent view: up to 50 ordinary programs, 50 program runs and 100 workouts, plus up to 400 WHOOP observations from the last 30 days when permitted. This is not guaranteed to be complete lifetime history, and these display limits do not delete older records. Coaching excludes sign-in emails, raw account profiles, manual Athlete Score inputs, bodyweight measurements, raw goal-intake answers, original imported files and the stored source-page text archive, pregnancy/postpartum records, and calisthenics profile stages. Reviewed imported-program prescriptions and notes can be included in training sharing, although imported programs cannot be offered onward. Ordinary program, workout and exercise notes are shared training content; the app does not classify every sentence as private health information. VERSION 1.1 AND LATER — CHANGING OR ENDING COACH ACCESS Only the athlete can change the sharing level. Either participant can revoke the connection. Changes require an internet connection and server confirmation. Revocation prevents subsequent athlete-dashboard access and cancels pending program offers and pending/approved unapplied change requests. It leaves the athlete's own workouts and accepted private program copies intact. The coach dashboard is held in app memory rather than saved as an offline dashboard. A coach may already have viewed information or separately kept screenshots, copies or notes. Revocation cannot undo prior viewing or remove independently retained information. It does not delete the coach's original program or an athlete's accepted copy. Accepting an offered plan creates a private copy with coach/source/assignment attribution. It does not start a run or grant more health-data access. Applying an approved future exercise change is a separate athlete action; original logged sets and substitution history are preserved. Revocation is not account deletion. Connection and assignment history can remain after revocation. Account deletion removes associated app records, while independently owned copies already accepted by another account may remain with their attribution. Copies and notes kept outside Garage are outside that deletion. VERSION 1.1.1 — OPTIONAL INCLUDED PREGNANCY STRENGTH PROGRAM Pregnancy Strength — 8 Weeks is an included library template available to all app users. Browsing it does not record a pregnancy status or enroll anyone. Saving or starting it uses ordinary private program, schedule and workout records; it does not create a pregnancy/postpartum intake profile. A program-focus label keeps session summaries focused on consistency instead of records. As with other ordinary training, a coach may see this program and its workouts only after you grant training access. The separate optional private pathway described below retains its existing exclusions. Account setup does not ask for sex, pregnancy or postpartum status. From version 1.1.1, no first-run tutorial is required; the existing replay remains optional. VERSION 1.1 AND LATER — PREGNANCY AND POSTPARTUM INFORMATION The optional private pathway stores the answers you choose to provide: pregnancy/postpartum status, dated gestational stage or delivery date and optional delivery type, training experience/history, equipment, schedule, goals, comfortable movement and walking capability, fatigue context, clinician restrictions/notes, current symptoms and whether exercise plans were discussed with a care professional. It also stores dated tolerance feedback, the selected exercise when applicable, chosen adjustments, safety-rule version, warning pauses and return-guidance acknowledgements. These records support private training education, symptom responses and logging, and synchronize with your Garage account through Supabase. They are excluded from connected-coach dashboards and public sharing. Programs, copies, runs and workouts marked as pregnancy/postpartum retain their private classification. Turning off the pathway changes the active setting; it does not remove historical private records or erase a stored warning pause. The versioned rules are educational content, not medical clearance, diagnosis or monitoring by a clinician. Acknowledging care guidance records your statement; Garage has not verified that guidance. Symptoms and clinician notes are not included in product-analytics dimensions. VERSION 1.1 AND LATER — SELF-RECORDED CALISTHENICS STAGES Skill logging is optional. Your account profile stores the latest entry for each of up to 15 supported skills: skill, named path/stage, recording time and optional practice note. Entries synchronize with your account and can be corrected or removed. They are excluded from coaching/public views and product-analytics dimensions. These are your practice reports, not verified achievements, automatic readiness scores or instructions to advance a program. PRODUCT ANALYTICS We collect first-party feature-use events linked to an account identifier to understand whether people find Garage useful. Examples include completing the guided tour, starting or finishing a workout, using Explore, creating/importing a program, achieving a PR, connecting WHOOP and returning on a later day. We also record tour duration and fixed categories such as PDF versus photo. General analytics does not contain private search text, document text, source filenames, symptoms, bodyweight, lift values or WHOOP readings. There are no advertising SDKs in this mobile release. You can turn off “Share feature-use analytics” in Profile. Collection stops on that device immediately; when connected, the setting synchronizes and previously collected product events are deleted. Offline devices need to reconnect to receive updated preferences. Existing tour-completion preferences remain stored even when analytics is disabled; version 1.1.1 does not require a first-run tutorial. Events are retained until you disable analytics or delete the account. Operational hosting logs may separately record request metadata needed to run the service. STORAGE, SERVICE PROVIDERS AND CONTROL Supabase provides account authentication, database and server functions. Expo provides app builds and distribution services; Apple/Google operate their respective platform and store services. Access to app data is restricted by account ownership and the explicit sharing permissions described above, and network requests use HTTPS. No security system can guarantee that data will never be lost or accessed improperly. In update-enabled versions from 1.1.2, the app also contacts Expo to check for and download compatible software updates. Requests include a randomly generated installation identifier, platform, update channel and runtime/update information, together with ordinary network metadata such as IP address. Update recovery can send a previous fatal-error message to diagnose a launch failure. These requests support software delivery and recovery and are separate from the optional feature-use analytics setting. Garage does not attach your workout records, WHOOP readings, account email or imported documents to update requests. Information stored by Expo is governed by its service/privacy terms at https://expo.dev/privacy. You can export your Garage training data from Profile. To delete your mobile account and associated app records, use Profile → Delete account and confirm the action. You can instead request help at garagestrengthapp@yahoo.com; we will verify account ownership before acting. Exported files, independently saved shared-program copies and records retained by WHOOP or app stores are outside that deletion. The original Garage web log is a separate product/data store and is not deleted by deleting a mobile account. EARLY ACCESS Features may change as the app is tested. Everything is free during early access; there are no subscriptions, import fees or program-generation payments. Garage provides training education and logging, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Contact garagestrengthapp@yahoo.com with privacy, support or deletion requests. We will update this page when the way the app handles data changes.
